This Privacy Policy explains how The Work Lab ("we", "us") handles information in connection with (a) this website and (b) our internal content-publishing application used to post our own videos to our own social-media accounts.

1. Who we are

The Work Lab is an independent media brand publishing evidence-based content about workplace psychology. Contact: hi@theworklab.app.

2. Information we collect from website visitors

Email address — only if you voluntarily submit it through a sign-up form, in order to send you the newsletter and resources you requested.
Basic analytics — aggregated, non-identifying usage data (e.g. page views) that our hosting provider may record. We do not build advertising profiles.

Email addresses are stored and processed by our email service provider (Kit / ConvertKit) solely to deliver content you opted into. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

3. Our content-publishing application

We operate a private application that publishes our own video content to social-media platforms — including TikTok, via the TikTok Content Posting API — for accounts we own and control.

The application uses platform access granted by us, the account owner, through the platform's official OAuth flow.
It uses this access only to upload and publish our own content and to read back the delivery status of our own posts.
It does not collect, store, or process personal data of any other users, followers, or third parties.
Access tokens are stored securely and used only for the purpose above. They are never sold, shared, or transferred to third parties.

4. How we use information

To send requested content and updates to subscribers.
To publish and manage our own social-media content.
To understand, in aggregate, how our website and content perform.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make the above possible (our email provider and hosting provider), and only to the extent needed to provide the service.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you by contacting hi@theworklab.app. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time.

7. Data retention

We retain subscriber email addresses until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Publishing access tokens are retained only while the integration is active and are revoked when no longer needed.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
